Comments:

After school I was an apprentice at Melody Top, various clerical jobs and became the first female dj for Music on the Move. I met Brian through mutual friends that we worked with and married on 8-5-89. Worked at American Family Ins. Business Underwriting for several years before I became a stay at home mom in 1994. Brian's job transfered us up to Appleton 10 years ago. Worked at Lawrence University for 7 of those 10 years as a administrative assistant for admissions, dean, president, and more before I stopped floating and found a home with 48 professors in the humanities. I learned a lot working there, free classes, and overall a great University. Before I was laid off 5 years ago I did that goal in life that everyone has and mine was to direct a middle school play because that was when I got the fire in the belly and new that was what I wanted to do when I grew up. I wanted to share that experience and keep the arts alive for another generation or so. I directed a musical that was written by 2 writers to accommodate a no-cut cast of 210! It was truly the most amazing thing I have done in my life and with the support of family and friends (some of you drove up from Milwuakee to see it and I thank you). So what does one do when they achieved their lifetime goal/dream? Make a new one and since can't think of one I just picked up a part time job at Macy's (great perks). We haven't really taken any vacations in those last 20 years but we made up for that with having a 30ft Bayliner cabin cruiser that we spent a lot of quality time on in the last 7 years (which is for sale by the way) and for our 20th anniversary we took a cruise to the Caribbean. I did and saw things that were truly once in a lifetime experiences.

Hey, if I fail to recognize or remember you at the reunion please forgive me for reasons to lengthy to get into and just come up to me even if we barely knew one another, or even if we just saw things differently, is a nice way to put it, back then. A lot has changed in 25 years in our lives (called maturity) and I hope to make some new friends and try to remember my old ones too at the reunion as well.

School Story:

Hanging tidy-whities outside on the last day of school. Parties under the Hone Bridge. Stage crew pranks on the cast (I received many in return) but best of all was History class with Mr. Czech and his many one liners, "Stop spinning around like a merry go round" he would say if you turned around to talk or if you were bored an put your head down he'd say,"Sit up like 7-up". The guys in the back would throw pencils into the ceiling tiles without getting caught and he never noticed them either. Oh, if I could only remember more of his infamous sayings.
